There are many ways to help out. At the XC Ski Alliance, we feel that all contributions are invaluable whether monetary or otherwise. If you can afford to donate anything you are a gold sponsor in our hearts. A donation of any magnitude will put you on the XC Ski Alliance newsletter mailing list. This newsletter will keep you informed on our training progress, travel, activities, and let you know what is new in the Alliance Store. In addition, all members who wish to be recognized will be represented on the Alliance Members page of our website. Unfortunately, making patches to sew on gear costs money and the International Ski Federation (FIS) restricts the amount of space that we have available on our uniforms, so we had to set up some sponsorship guidelines.
Basic Alliance Membership Package ($50)
The Basic Alliance Membership Package will get your name listed in the Alliance Members section of the website, a subscription to the monthly Alliance newsletter, and a multi color, weather-proof XC Ski Alliance sticker for your rocket box, water bottle, pole tube, or anywhere else you like to stick stickers. Stickers are currently on back order.
Full Alliance Membership Package ($100)
The Full Alliance Membership Package includes all of the benefits of the basic package, plus a high quality poly-cotton blend XC Ski Alliance t-shirt. Seriously, what is a membership without a t-shirt?
Alliance 500 Advertising Club ($500)
The Alliance 500 Advertising Club offers you all of the benefits of the Full Alliance Membership package, plus a small advertising space on www.xcskialliance.com.
Alliance 1000 Advertising Club ($1000)
The Alliance 1000 Advertising Club offers you all of the benefits of the Full Alliance Membership Package, plus a large advertising space on www.xcskialliance.com.
Alliance Racing Club III ($2000)
The Alliance Racing Club III offers you all of the benefits of the Alliance 1000 Advertising club, plus you have the opportunity to be represented on the sleeve of XC Ski Alliance athlete’s official CXC issue warm-up jacket. This warm up jacket is the main item of clothing issued by the CXC Elite team, and it will be worn as much as possible while athletes are at racing venues, training, and traveling. Advertising crests must be positioned on the right sleeve of the jacket and may not exceed 50 cm square (i.e. 5cm X 10cm).
Alliance Racing Club II ($4000)
The Alliance Racing Club II offers you all of the Alliance 1000 Advertising Club, plus you have the opportunity to be represented on the XC Ski Alliance athlete’s official CXC issue racing suit. Advertising crests must be positioned on the collar of the racing suit and may not exceed 20 cm square (i.e. 4cm X 5cm).
Alliance Racing Club I ($5000)
The Alliance Racing Club I will receive the benefits of both the Alliance Racing Club II and III.
Alliance Title Sponsor ($10,000)
The highest sponsorship level that we have to offer is the Alliance Title Sponsorship. If you choose to become the title sponsor, your name will become a part of our title. The organization will then become The “Blank” XC Ski Alliance (where “Blank” is your name). You will also receive all the benefits of all previous sponsorship categories including uniform and warm-up representation, website advertising space, t-shirts, and stickers.
If you want to be a larger part of the XC Ski Alliance but advertising opportunities do not interest you, the XC Ski Alliance will discuss other options, including (but not limited to): technique clinics for local junior or master skiers, written articles on a skiing topic of your choice, mentoring athletes and students, speaking, or volunteering.
We are serious athletes and we guarantee you and your company will always be represented with professionalism and respect. If you do not wish to make a monetary donation, the XC Ski alliance is always looking for gear and apparel sponsors as well.
In addition, we believe that enjoying the process is a huge part of reaching a goal, and we always try to make training fun. Involvement in the sport community is important to us and we are dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle in the United States.
