Welcome to XC Ski Alliance

Cross-country skiing in America has come a long way in the past ten years, but we are still way behind other countries.  Although it is easy to place blame on the large governing organizations involved, the XC Ski Alliance believes that it is the responsibility of the ski communities and the athletes to make changes in the American skiing culture.

The XC Ski alliance was started by two cross-country skiers who grew up in Wisconsin, graduated from Northern Michigan University, and joined a post-college ski team called the CXC Elite.  The name of the organization was established to demonstrate the alliance between these two athletes and the programs that have supported them.  The athletes who started the XC Ski Alliance believe that these relationships are a huge part of their success as athletes, and that expanding on national alliances can help the United States advance in the sport of cross-country skiing in many ways.

The XC Ski Alliance already contains over 50 members from 5 different states.
Help us out and join the Alliance Today.
