Education, Graduation Year & Area of Study: I graduated from Northern Michigan University in the spring of 2008 with a BS in Mathematics and Sociology minor.
Hobbies: I enjoy playing golf, basketball, football, or softball whenever I get the chance. I have recently been learning to fly fish and have really taken a liking to it.
Other non-athletic interests: When I’m not being athletic I can relax with the best of ‘em! I enjoy watching any of the Boston sports teams or simply sitting outside in the sun with a cold drink and good friends.

When did you start Skiing? I started skiing with my parents at the age of three after being pulled around in a sled for three cold years.
Why is Skiing Important in your Life? Skiing lets me keep my body in shape which always feels good. Also, it has given a confused college graduate a direction in which to follow. Most importantly I have met so many people who positively influence my life everyday and hopefully will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
Other athletic interests/accomplishments? Vermont junior ping-pong runner up, VT frisbee golf junior record holder, longest home run in Rumney Elementary school history, 264 bowling game.
Skiing Goals: My short term goals are to recover from leg surgery earlier this year and make a successful comeback to racing this winter. I have an eye on future Olympic teams but, am really just trying to get a little better one day at a time.
Goals after Skiing? Skiing has given so much to me, I am sure that I will never really leave skiing. I would love to help further USA Skiing in whatever capacity necessary.
How do you see yourself giving back to the sport in the future? My favorite part of skiing was and always has been the kids. Skiing for fun is the only way I know how. I hope to influence as many kids as I can to get into skiing for fun and exercise.
